Instagram Help says photos wider than 1080 pixels are scaled down to 1080. Photos are never enlarged.

Not for product main images

Amazon.in does not allow watermarks on a product's main image, Meesho asks for product images without any logo or watermark, and Google Merchant Center asks for product images without watermarks or added logos. Keep clean photos for those, made with the Product Photo Resizer, and use watermarked copies for social media and WhatsApp.

Camera and location data removed

Each new photo is drawn from the pixels, so EXIF data such as the camera, the date and any GPS location is not copied. The tool tells you which originals had a location.
