About the Google Review Reply Templates
Choose the star rating, pick what the review talks about (or paste the review and we pick for you), and get three replies in English, Hinglish or Hindi: short, standard and personal. Replies to negative reviews apologise, take the problem offline and give your phone or email. A privacy mode for clinics, lawyers and advisers leaves out details. The replies are written templates, not AI, and the tool runs in your browser.
How it works
-
Step 1
Pick the star rating and what the review is about, or paste the review.
-
Step 2
Add your business name, the reviewer's first name and a phone or email for complaints, and choose the language.
-
Step 3
Edit the reply you like so it mentions something specific, then copy it into your Business Profile.
What Google asks of replies
Google asks owners to keep replies clear, helpful and polite, and says replies must follow the same content policies as reviews. Its tips suggest keeping replies short, not sharing the reviewer's private information, and asking the reviewer to contact you by phone or email about complex problems. You must verify your business before you can reply.
Rules about asking for reviews
Google does not allow offering payment, discounts, free goods or services in exchange for a review, or for changing or removing a negative one. It also does not allow asking only happy customers for reviews, or discouraging negative ones. Reviews by owners, staff or anyone with a conflict of interest can be removed.
What this tool cannot do
It cannot read your reviews or post replies for you: copy the reply into your Business Profile. The templates are a starting point, so edit them to mention something specific from the review. It does not judge whether a review breaks Google's policies; report those from your Business Profile.
Frequently asked questions
How do I reply to a Google review?
Open your reviews from your Business Profile and choose to reply to the one you want. You must verify your business first. The reply shows as your business, not your personal name, and the reviewer is told about it. Google checks replies before they appear, usually within 10 minutes, though it can take up to 30 days.
How should I reply to a negative review?
Stay calm. Thank the reviewer, apologise for their experience without arguing, and say what you are doing about the problem. Then ask them to contact you by phone or email so you can sort it out privately, as Google suggests for complex issues. Never share their personal details, and never offer anything in return for changing the review.
Can I reply to Google reviews in Hindi?
Yes, you can write a reply in Hindi or Hinglish, and many customers in India review that way. Where you can, reply in the language the review uses, so the reviewer and other readers understand it. This tool writes the same replies in English, Hinglish and Hindi in Devanagari, so you can choose one or mix them.
Can I offer a discount for a good review?
No. Google's policy does not allow offering payment, discounts, free goods or services in exchange for a review, or for changing or removing one. Such reviews count as fake engagement and can be removed. You can still ask every customer for an honest review, as long as you ask everyone and offer nothing in return.
How do I get a fake review removed?
You cannot delete reviews yourself. If a review breaks Google's policies, for example it is fake or written by someone with a conflict of interest, report it from your Business Profile or Google's Reviews Management Tool and follow it there. Only reviews that break the policies can be removed, and a check usually takes several days.
