How to use the Business Card Maker

Read what the guide says

This is the Business Card Maker.

Design a business card front and back,

then print ten on an A4 sheet with crop marks, or save a PDF.

Fill in your name, business and the ways people can reach you,

and open your logo file if you have one.

Or press Try an example to fill in sample details.

Choose a front layout, what goes on the back, the card size,

a font and two colours, and fix anything the checks point out.

Press "Print A4 sheet" to print ten cards or save a PDF,

or make the card with bleed for a print shop or the PNG files.

It does not print, sell or deliver cards, and it cannot check your printer's settings.

It runs in your browser, so nothing you type is uploaded.

Try it free on this page.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type and no logo is uploaded.

About you
How people reach you

Indian numbers get +91 on the card. When the phone and WhatsApp numbers are the same, the card shows the number once. A short address fits better: up to two lines print.

Logo (optional)

PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG. A PNG with a clear background or an SVG prints best. It stays on this device.

Front layout
Back of the card

"Save contact" puts a contact card (vCard) in the QR code: your name, business, title, phone, email, website and address, so a phone can save you in one go. For other QR codes, use the QR Code Generator.

Size and look

Card size

Two common sizes (our suggestion). Ask your printer which size and paper they use.

The card uses fonts already on your device, so Hindi names print too.

About the Business Card Maker

Type your name, title, business and contact details, add your logo, and pick one of six layouts and your colours. You see the front and back as you type, with the bleed and safe area marked. The back can carry your logo or a QR code that opens your website, saves your contact card or starts a WhatsApp chat. Print ten cards on an A4 sheet with crop marks, save a PDF, make a file with bleed for a print shop, or download PNG files. It runs in your browser: nothing you type and no logo is uploaded.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Fill in your name, business and the ways people can reach you, and open your logo file if you have one.

  2. Step 2

Choose a front layout, what goes on the back, the card size, a font and two colours, and fix anything the checks point out.

  3. Step 3

Press "Print A4 sheet" to print ten cards or save a PDF, or make the card with bleed for a print shop or the PNG files.

Bleed, safe area and crop marks

Printers cut cards from bigger sheets, and a cut can be off by a little. So the colours run 3 mm past the cut line (the bleed), and the text stays at least 4 mm inside it (the safe area). These are our suggestions; some printers ask for other values, so check with yours. On the A4 sheet the ten cards sit edge to edge, one cut serves two cards, and the crop marks in the margin show where to cut.

The QR code on the back

A website code opens your site. A contact card code holds a vCard with your name, business, phone, email, website and address, so a phone can save you in one go. A WhatsApp code opens a chat with your number through a wa.me link. A contact card holds more, so its squares are smaller: the tool warns when they print under 0.4 mm, our measure for easy scanning. Always scan a printed card with two phones before printing many.

What this tool cannot do

It does not print, sell or deliver cards, and it cannot check your printer's settings. The fonts are the ones already on your device, so a card can look slightly different on another computer; the PDF keeps what you saw. It offers six layouts, not a free design canvas, and it does not check your logo's rights or your details for you.

Frequently asked questions

What size is a business card in India?

There is no single rule. Two common sizes are 90 × 55 mm and 3.5 × 2 inches (88.9 × 50.8 mm), and the tool makes both. Ask your printer which size and paper they use before you order.

How do I print the cards at home or in the office?

Press "Print A4 sheet", set the scale to 100% or "Actual size" (not "Fit to page"), and print on thick paper or card your printer accepts. Cut along the crop marks with a paper trimmer. The backs print on a second page: put the sheet back in and print it on the other side, flipping on the long edge. Print one test sheet first.

How do I get a PDF?

Press either print button and choose "Save as PDF" as the printer in the print window. "Print one card with bleed" makes a PDF with one card per page, front then back, with 3 mm of bleed on every side, to send to a print shop. Ask the shop what size, bleed and file they need first.

Can I put my name in Hindi?

Yes. Type it in Hindi and the card uses a Hindi font already on your device. Check the preview and the PDF before printing, because a few older computers have no Hindi font.

Is my logo uploaded anywhere?

No. The logo is opened and drawn in your browser and is not sent to any server. It is made smaller if it is very large, which keeps the PDF light and still sharp for print.
