About the Comment and DM Reply Templates

Pick the platform, whether you are replying in public or in a private message, and the situation: a price question, availability, location, a complaint, a refund, a negative review, spam, thanks, a collaboration request, a job enquiry or moving the chat to messages. Choose a warm or formal tone and English, Hinglish or Hindi, and add your business name, number, link and offer. You get three replies with your details filled in, character counts (with X's own counting rules on X) and copy buttons, plus the platform rules we could verify and our suggestions. Paste the comment and the tool suggests the situation from its words. Written templates, not AI, and nothing leaves your browser.

Replies that keep customers safe

Our suggestions: in public, never ask for or repeat a phone number, address or order details, and move the conversation to messages; never ask anyone for a password, OTP, UPI PIN or card number; and never promise a refund before you have checked the order and your policy. For spam, our suggestion is not to reply at all, so the tool gives replies only for a rude but real customer, a warning about a fake account and off-topic promotion.

Platform rules we could check

Replies on X are counted as posts: up to 280 characters, with every link counted as 23 and an emoji as 2. Instagram's Hidden Words hides comments with common offensive words by default, and you can add your own words or hide a single comment. Chatbots and inbox tools built on Meta's messaging platform have up to 24 hours to reply, and the WhatsApp Business Platform allows free-form replies for 24 hours after the customer's last message.

What this tool cannot do

It writes from fixed templates, not AI, and it cannot read your comments or messages or reply for you: you paste and copy. The situation it suggests comes from a simple keyword match, so check it. The reply wording is our suggestion; the platforms publish no rules on how to word a reply. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp do not publish a comment or message length we could verify, so those counts have no limit.

Frequently asked questions

How should a business reply to a complaint in the comments?

Our suggestion: reply once in public, calmly, say sorry for the experience and ask them to message you or call, without asking for personal details in the comment. Then sort it out in private. Never promise a refund or replacement before you have checked the order and your policy.

Should I reply to spam comments?

Usually not. Our suggestion is to hide, delete, report or block spam. On Instagram, "Hide unwanted comments" is on by default, and you can add your own words to Hidden Words or hide a single comment; the commenter cannot tell. If a fake account is copying your page, the tool has a warning reply for your followers.

Can I reply in Hinglish or Hindi?

Yes. Every situation has replies in English, Hinglish in Latin letters and Hindi in Devanagari, in a warm or formal tone. The character count treats an emoji or a Hindi letter with its marks as one; on X it uses X's own counting rules, under which most Hindi letters count as one.

Is there a time limit for replying to messages?

For chatbots and inbox tools built on Meta's Messenger Platform or Instagram messaging API, Meta's policy gives up to 24 hours to respond; a person can reply by hand within 7 days only if the tool has Meta's Human Agent permission. On the WhatsApp Business Platform, free-form replies are allowed for 24 hours after the customer's last message; after that, only approved templates.

What should I say when a creator asks to collaborate?

Ask what they have in mind: a paid post, a product in return for a review, or something else, with their rates and audience details. ASCI counts money, free products, discounts and gifts as a material connection, so their post about you needs a clear label such as "Ad", "Sponsored", "Collaboration" or "Partnership".
