About the Landing Page Message-Match Checker
Enter your landing page, the keyword you bid on and, if you like, your ad text. We check the keyword in the title, H1 and opening text, compare every ad line with what the page says, look for the same price or offer, and check the call to action, form length, mobile setup, speed and trust signals. It is our checklist for the ad relevance and landing page experience parts of Quality Score, not Google's own score.
How it works
-
Step 1
Enter the landing page address and the keyword, then paste your headlines and descriptions, one per line.
-
Step 2
We fetch the page and compare it with the keyword and each line of the ad, including prices, discounts and the call to action.
-
Step 3
Fix the top items first, then watch the ad relevance and landing page experience columns in Google Ads.
How Google describes Quality Score
Google calls Quality Score a 1–10 diagnostic built from three parts: expected clickthrough rate, ad relevance (how closely your ad matches the intent behind a search) and landing page experience (how relevant and useful your page is to people who click your ad). The score itself is not used in the auction, but real-time versions of these parts are. This tool looks at the last two from the page's side.
What message match means
Message match is the page keeping the ad's promise. If the ad says "Implants from ₹19,999" and "Call now", the page should show that price and a number to tap. Google suggests that the landing page mirror the call to action in your ad text. This tool puts each ad line next to the closest passage on the page, so you can see the gaps.
What this tool cannot measure
We cannot see your Quality Score, expected clickthrough rate, search terms or conversion rate. We fetch the page once from our server without running JavaScript, so content loaded later and real loading speed on phones are not measured. Use PageSpeed Insights for speed, and the Quality Score columns in Google Ads for Google's view.
Frequently asked questions
What are the three parts of Quality Score?
Google lists expected clickthrough rate, ad relevance and landing page experience. Each is rated above average, average or below average, compared with other advertisers whose ads showed for the same search over the last 90 days. Quality Score is a diagnostic: Google says it is not a key performance indicator, and the score itself is not an input to the ad auction.
How do I improve landing page experience in Google Ads?
Make the page relevant and useful to the person who clicked. Repeat the keyword and the ad's promise near the top, show the same price or offer, mirror the ad's call to action, keep forms short, make it easy to contact you and load quickly on phones. Google also suggests clear, original information about what you offer, and real customer reviews.
What does message match mean in Google Ads?
Message match means the landing page says what the ad said. The heading repeats the search, the price and offer are the same, and the button does what the ad promised, such as "Book a free consultation" or a number to call. When the page matches, visitors trust the click and are more likely to enquire; when it does not, they leave and the click is wasted.
Does noindex on a landing page hurt my ads?
noindex tells search engines to keep a page out of organic results, and many advertisers use it on ad-only landing pages so they do not compete with their main pages. This tool does not count it against the page. Google Ads checks landing pages with its own AdsBot crawlers, so make sure robots.txt does not block AdsBot-Google by name.
How many fields should a lead form have?
There is no fixed number, but every extra field is another reason to give up, especially on a phone. For a first enquiry, a name, a phone number or email and one question are usually enough, and you can collect the rest on the call. Our checklist passes forms with five fields or fewer and flags longer ones for a second look.
